Privacy policy

Zelex Guide is a static, read-only site with no accounts, forms or comments. Below is what its analytics and hosting providers still record. Last updated: October 2026.

Who this policy covers

This policy covers this site, Zelex Guide, only. It does not cover Zelex, the doll manufacturer, its official store or any seller of its dolls. They are separate businesses with their own privacy policies, and this site is not affiliated with them. Anything you share when ordering a Zelex doll is handled under their rules, not these.

Analytics

Zelex Guide uses two analytics services. The first, Cloudflare Web Analytics, shows which Zelex pages are read and how fast they load. It does not rely on client-side storage such as cookies or local storage to collect these metrics, and it is not built to identify, fingerprint or profile individual visitors.

The data is aggregated: pages viewed, the referring site, browser and device type, the country of the visit and page-load performance. This site does not combine it with other data, does not sell or share it and does not use it for advertising.

The second, Contentsquare, records clicks, mouse movements, scrolling and moves between pages, plus basic device and browser details. It turns this into session replays of single visits and heatmaps of where visitors click and scroll. This site uses them to find confusing layouts and pages that break on some devices.

By default, Contentsquare masks text typed into input fields and does not collect it, and Zelex Guide has no forms anyway.

Contentsquare processes this data as a data processor, on behalf of Zelex Guide and under its instructions. According to Contentsquare, it stores the data in Europe or the United States and keeps it for 13 months by default.

Hosting and server logs

Like any website, Zelex Guide is served through hosting and content delivery providers. To deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, their systems process technical data such as your IP address, browser user agent, the page requested and the time of the request. These logs are handled by the providers under their own policies and kept for limited periods. This site does not use them to identify visitors.

Cookies

Zelex Guide does not set advertising cookies. Contentsquare sets first-party analytics cookies to tell visits and sessions apart; according to its documentation, the main ones are _cs_id, which stores a visitor ID, a visit count and timestamps for 13 months, and _cs_s, which stores session data for 30 minutes and renews while you are active. Other websites cannot read first-party cookies. Infrastructure providers may also set strictly necessary security cookies to protect the site from automated abuse.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time, and every Zelex buying guide still works. Blocking cookies for this site also stops Contentsquare, whose tag records nothing when it cannot set cookies; blocking only third-party cookies does not. Extensions that block tracking scripts have the same effect. Contentsquare does not document support for Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, so those settings alone may not stop it.

The “Check prices” buttons go through a short address on this site that starts with /go/ and redirects to one third-party store. The redirect tells the store that the visit came from this site, so a commission can be credited if you buy.

Once you are on the store’s website, its own privacy policy and cookie rules apply, including any tracking it or its affiliate network uses to attribute purchases. This site never receives your payment details, address or Zelex order contents. More detail is on the affiliate disclosure page.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, privacy laws may give you rights over your personal data, such as access, correction, deletion or objection to processing. Zelex Guide does not collect your name, email address or other details that identify you. Contentsquare session data is tied only to a cookie ID, so this site cannot match it to a person.

For data held by the store, by Zelex, by Contentsquare or by infrastructure providers, use the contact details in their own privacy policies. This site does not run an inbox; the contact page explains why.

Adults only

This site is intended for adults aged 18 and over. It does not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and since it has no forms or accounts, it never asks anyone for personal details.

Changes to this policy

If the way this site handles data changes, for example with a new analytics tool, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change. This version was last updated in October 2026. The terms of use cover the other rules for using the site.
